“It is your decisions, and not your conditions, that determine your destiny.” ~ Anthony Robbins
Ever feeling cornered or stuck in a situation or certain emotions, having the same thoughts again and again, just couldn’t get out of it? Ever feeling trapped by repetitive scenarios and results, wanting to make changes and to leap out of the looping? You think you cannot find the solutions or there is no way out; you think you don’t have the courage and the power to make break through and changes. What happens next?
Making a new change is not a question of capability; in fact you already have all the abilities you need to make and follow through the changes. What you are missing is determination and a declaration to yourself and to the current situation: “My current beliefs and the current situation are no longer serving my purpose and intention of who I am, who I want to be, where I want to go and what I want to achieve in life. I want to be renewed, so I may go forward.” (Inspired by Anthony Robbins) Once you boldly declared to yourself, you open up for new beliefs, new ideas and information, be more acceptable to changes, as well as more flexible in viewing options and the world.
But then why sometimes changes are not sustained and we are still back to the same situations? It’s because there is something you are still not ready to accept, let go or move on. The process of acceptance and letting go induces deep pain, for the fact that you are no longer by-passing, but facing right at the cause or source of the pain. This requires not only the courage to face and accept own results, deficiencies and vulnerabilities, but also the power of letting go, self-healing and moving forward with the new ‘You’. In order to have new changes persevered, this new ‘You’ needs to have clear new goals, to replace the current understanding with the new insights and understanding, to be open and flexible for options and be supported by your continuous practice of self-love, affirmations and encouragements.
Today I love myself by: (read the below aloud 3 times and listen to what you read)
I have the capability to make any changes, all I need is to determine and declare to myself the areas requiring me to open up, be flexible and look forward to changes; I support myself in all the new changes I intend to make through continuous practice of self-love, affirmations and encouragements.
Today’s home work:
Find an area that you persistently holding your own view about, review if the beliefs still work for your goals in life; try be flexible or would you have been flexible about it, brainstorm the options and possibilities in the area, what changes will you make to benefit your journey in loving yourself more?
Encouragement for myself:
